Question about a recurring FB ad for Bird-in-Flight photography

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

I keep getting an ad on my FB page for a free course on Bird-in-Flight Photography in the Journal of Wildlife Photography.com. I clicked on it and it asked me for my name and contact details , so I quickly closed it. I find this suspicious for being some sort of scam, but with Steve's name attached, I hope it isn't. If this is real, does it contain any information that isn't already available on this site or in the excellent video "Secrets to Stunning Birds in Flight Photography", by Steve, which I have already bought? Thanks,

There’s a thread about it below. It’s legitimate. I suspect JOWP is using Steve's class as a teaser to get prospective members to buy related courses from several other wildlife photographers. If you're not interested, ignore it.

A key reason I avoid Facebook entirely is that once you login your activity is being constantly tracked for the remainder of your time on the computer. Facebook is sharing that information with everyone so privacy is lost completely.
