Interested in hearing what owners of the new 70-200 f2.8 lens in Z mount think of their new lens.

1. How does it compare with the 70-200 f2.8E FL in F mount (assuming you use the Z mount lens on a Z7 and the F mount lens on a Z7 with the FTZ or on a D850)? I assume the new Z mount lens is better, but wonder where the differences are (center? corners? edges? particular focal lengths?) and whether the differences would be visible only when using a good tripod with exacting technique.

2. Do you think it would be worth upgrading from the 70-200 f2.8E FL version in F mount? I have been inclined to think I should stay with the F mount version for now, as I can use it on both my DSLRs and Z bodies and it is a pretty good lens. My use is pretty general, but most frequently for wildlife, landscape, other nature, family events, photographing my son running marathons.

3. How good is it when paired with the new 1.4x and 2x Z mount tele-converters? Is it as good, when using TCs, as F mount zooms without TCs at comparable focal lengths (e.g., 80-400G, 200-500, 70-300 AF-P, 120-300, 180-400)? How does it compare, when using a TC, with the 300 mm PF lens for optical quality (the zoom would of course be more flexible).

4. Any other thoughts on the lens and TCs?
