Tried out my 300 PF with the 1.7 converter and my D780 body. Luckily the sun came out here and there. These shots are cropped with the shadows opened up but not sharpened. I shot raw and, for today, in aperture mode. Basic settings were ISO 400 at 1/1000 with a steady f6.7. The info shows the lens and converter combo as 500mm.
