During winter, the Northern Hawk Owl sometimes ventures south of the boreal forest, it's natural habitat; looking for small rodents from a tree or other perch, she has taken up residence on the ground of Quebec city Airport; these days, with the pandemia, it's easier to see this bird than...an aircraft!
