Ok...I've read all over the place. I know the 3M-966 thing...the rubber cement thing...the crazy glue thing...there are a thousand approaches to this.
As some of you know...my D5 took the dunk and is now restored and working. The only issue seems to be the front-bottom grip is coming up a small amount along the bottow edge. I'm hypothesizing that the couple of days in the oven on proof may have done this. It's not enough to be anything but annoying and I don't want to spend a bunch on a new part ($50+). All I want to do is fasten it back down and I don't even care if I have to do it periodically, so...what are your person recommendations. Ideally, I'd like to hear from folks who have actually done it rather than conjecture, which I can do pretty well.
Let the ideerz fly folks.
