I am really impressed with the new Color Grading panel in LrC, this replaced the old Tone panel. I've just been using it on fall color images and it does a great job. This panel can now be used instead of, or in conjunction with, the HSL/Color panel. There is a whole new degree of control to set specific colors in highlight, shadows and now midtowns. There is a little eye to toggle between the new and old version and you can see, in percentages, what the tones are. Like the curve tool, you can also see the old tone setting and what the new tone setting is. A big improvement in color options. Other changes are new zoom control and a revised name for the catalog to help you stay in the right catalog (in case you keep old ones!). I moved my Color Grading panel up under the HSL/Color panel so that I can work with them both easily. No problem at all with the upgrade (I know someone is going to ask that). A lot of this is being covered this week on the Adobe MAX conference, online and free.
