Was actually not out to shoot deer, but had the camera and a 70-200 with me. Then suddenly a deer emerged 30 meters (100 feet) in front of us, and didn't seem to care too much of us. Walked past an over to a small pond and taking a dip, playing with stuff in the pond and finally getting up - be aware, it's like with dogs, don't stand to close when they emerge from a pond
