I took this Sunday afternoon from my car at the edge of a parking lot. It was taken around 1:30 PM in full midday sun but I found some clean perches in the shade. A perfect amount of light was peeking through the foliage which nicely illuminated its trademark red eye. It was pretty close (EXIF says 2.5 meters) so I had to zoom out to 390mm.
