I had a red fox in my neighborhood earlier this year that I saw on a number of occasions. I first saw it in the back yard of a house with a mouthful of voles and later that same day on a walkway in our neighborhood where the fox is literally is 15-20 feet away from me.
This photo is from the encounter along the walkway. I'm shooting into a setting sun and my camera had the wrong settings in it from the solar eclipse that I had forgot to change. The image is still good enough to share and I may share others later. I should note that I removed one strand of yellow grass from in front of the fox I felt ruined the photo.
