Red Fox Puppies

Aren't they cute :love::love: !?!

On Monday I had the chance to observe red fox puppies at their burrow. These little cuties are not older than 5 weeks, so it took a while until they were brave enough to get outside.
Well camouflaged, I was sitting in the middle of a bush, with the brise coming from the front for more than 3 hours to get the chance for some pictures.
It was a quite clouded day and the burrow was in the middle of a forrest, so that the light was not at its best.

Have you had the chance to take pictures of fox or any other puppies in the wild as well?

Nikon D500, Nikon AF-S Nikkor 500mm 1:5,6E PF ED VR, ISO Automatic. f5.6 or 7.1, 1/800 or 1/1000 (both settings dependent on the situation)

Adorable Shots!👍👍👍

Great photos of beautiful subjects. Several years ago I photographed two red fox pups at a den beneath a cabin's porch; got some videos of them too. Those were older than the pups in your photographs.

Great captures! I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Your patience paid off. Here's a shot I got a while back of one of 5 Gray Fox pups taken from a friend's deck (who had called to tell about seeing them). D500, Nikon 200-500 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, hand held, 1/2000th, f 7.1, 500mm, ISO 6400.

Thanks, Woody. I was really lucky to get the chance to photograph them. Without the advise of the hunting tenant of this part of the forrest. I would have never found this burrow.
