The weather today (12/10/2024) in the part of the UK where I am has been very cloudy with rain and intermittent patches of blue sky and sun. This shot was captured in one of those patches. The 800mm f6.3 and the 180-600mm f5.6-6.3 will start to get used less as the weather gets worse and the days shorten. Never mind there is often the odd good day!

He is beautiful, Andy. looks a bit like the Black Kite.
All the best for the dark, white and cold ahead of you; we are already frying with >30ºC temperatures and no rain.

Yes its always nice when you get passed January and you start to see very slowly slight extensions In daylight hours on a nice day. You know you are on the right side and spring is not far away!. Anyway must not wish my time away. (y)
