Sedona is one of my favorite places. They've commercialized it way too much, but there are still places that stir the imagination.

Was in Sedona for a third time in 2019. They actually had a live human directing traffic in the heart of town because it was so crowded! Our meal at a favorite restaurant was pretty well spoiled by the exceptionally loud and crowded circumstances. THE GOOD NEWS: If you are willing to find some of the trails just outside of town and do some hiking, you will be well rewarded. Even after this most recent disappointment, I would still go there again. Get out early and late for that calendar picture light on the rocks.
