I was in a picturesque cemetery yesterday where all the military graves had been prepared for Remembrance Day today. Very bad light, but I was not able to get there again when light was better. I had to stand just so to obscure the sun behind the tree on the right.

Thank you, Sir. The scene generated some serious introspection in me. My great-grandfather died by enemy fire in a war in August, 1900. My father served in the Air Force during WW2, and I also served in the Army medical corps for a while when I was young, 7 weeks of which in a low intensity war zone. Makes you realize how fragile and precious life is. :)
