Any thoughts on using a wireless remote instead of a mobile device and Snapbrige application? I think a dedicated remote is less fidgety to setup and use?
If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).
Sounds like a plan. If you find it wanting you can always look at remotes. As with most thing, individual milage will vary. Thanks all. I did a few dry runs with Snapbridge and my phone and it appears to be connecting and working consistently. So rather purchase more accessories, I'll give this setup a try.
I use the WR-T10/WR-R10 on both my Z8 and D850. Very easy and convenient to use.which remote?
They are my preference also.I use the WR-T10/WR-R10 on both my Z8 and D850. Very easy and convenient to use.
I have them, work well for me though I only use them infrequently. Do you know the range?I use the WR-T10/WR-R10 on both my Z8 and D850. Very easy and convenient to use.
have you tested it. Specs are one thing, real life is another ..Per Nikon, 66 feet line of sight.
How many feet do you need?have you tested it. Specs are one thing, real life is another ..
wondering if 66 feet (20 meters is the limit) or if the real range is considerably longer or shorterHow many feet do you need?
Exactly why I attributed the claim. I haven’t tested as I don’t have a use case of more than 3-4 feet. I’m happy to try it out when I return home next week. How many feet do you need?
