After two days of steady drizzle, the sun returned and I was able to I get out and walk my kingdom this morning. Camera in one hand, coffee in the other.
First off there was a frog who had set up residence in the bricks under the welcome mat. So just like that, coming in and out of the house has become an ordeal of confirming the frog doesn't get smushed. I hope she moves on soon.
Lizard taking inventory in the rocks over driveway:
Small juvenile rattlesnake in the bushes next to the driveway. After they knew they were seen, they coiled up and started shaking that one little black button for all it was worth. Not the most exciting photo, they were deep in the brush and I wanted to give them space.
