The Reticulated Glass frog is tiny (about the size of a quarter). The underside of this frog is transparent; if you look closely at the top image you can see the frog's organs. Females lay a mass of eggs (called a clutch) on leaves, sticking them in place with a jelly-like substance. Afterward, the females leave and the males go on guard duty. The male may guard the eggs of several females at any one time. In the second image, you can see the male frog (to the right) and the female frog (to the left) and two sets of eggs being guarded. Notice that the eggs are a different stages of maturation and were most likely laid by different female frogs. The third image shows how this frog looks when seen from above.
