RF rear lens cap alignment design flaw hacked

Howdy y'all,

I saw a youtube video from Jan Wengner last evening and I thought it deserved to be shared here.
If you find yourself annoyed by the finicky alignment of Canon RF rear lens caps you might want to take a moment and watch this.
You will see the hack is to shave a plastic flange out of the lens cap. It appears it still holds well but can have a bit of edge lift.
I have been working this morning to shave that flange down incrementally on one of my caps to see if it's possible to shorten that flange to get rid of the edge lift while also still providing the universal alignment.

I might try that, though I wouldn't call it a flaw. As designed one aligns the marks on the lens and cap and it fits tightly, Jan's way it is floppier but easier to get on.
