Back in May I visited the Torres del Paine in Patagonia mainly to photograph pumas.i also spent a couple of days hiking in the park. The temperature was below freezing with a dusting of fresh snow down to the valley floor. The falls of the Rio Paine are the largest in the park and were almost completely in shadow which allowed me to atempt a longer exposure without use of ND filters:
