Green bee eater devouring a bee ! (i presume it to be a bee)

I shot for nearly two miniutes capturing the moments and sharing few photos of the action.
For a casual observer it may look that the bird was playing with the bee.How ever the bird had to really work hard to get the bee in a favorable position to devour it.It also beat the bee on the trunk of the tree few times to make sure that the bee is dead so that it can not sting the bird
I am indeed glad that i live in a place where i get to see lot of bee eaters & ashy drongos & their killings on a regualr basis(this series was the second for the day )

Very nice serie, our bee eaters have more blue colour and green and yellow, very nice birds
