Was actually taking a shot of a flower at the time but i turned to my left and spotted this sitting on a reed only a few feet away.

Thanks everyone for the feeback, there an interesting litle creature, also known as "The Assassin Fly or Bee Killer
Known to take on much larger prey than themselves, spiders etc.
They have a long protruding proboscis in there head and stab there pray , liqufing its organs and sucking out all its internals.
What a way to go lol.
