I’ve been wanting to get into off camera flash & different lighting techniques for a while but have always been a bit intimidated by it.
Looking at the possible options regarding flash guns & the numerous issues each one has I settled on a Rotolight Neo 11 with the Elinchrom receiver built in & the Elinchrom transmitter that sits on the hot shoe of the camera.

I went for this option as the Neo11 will keep up with the camera no matter what shutter speed I’m in & you can change the warmth of the light & you can do all that from the transmitter mounted on the camera, however I’ve stumbled on a problem that I need help with.

I’ve set it all up & have paired the light with the transmitter mounted on the camera & am able to control the brightness & warmth of the light but I can’t get it to operate in flash mode?
What am I doing wrong, or haven’t I done?
Can anyone help?
Thanks & hope you’re all keeping safe.
