Great composition and cool high key look.

I'd try taking the entire exposure down a half to full stop or maybe a combo of a bit less exposure and some highlight recovery but I'd try to pull some more detail out of the white breast and belly of the primary subject.

I agree that it helped to reduce the overall exposure along with some recovery in the breast/belly of the primary bird. Thanks!

I agree with everyone else. #2 is better. I also like the increased emphasis of the pattern on the top of the head in #2
