Sandhill Crane - Bosque del Apache

Even though there are Sandhill Cranes in an area about 1 1/2 hours away from where I live in California I simply cannot get a shot like this one there: this is why I travel to Bosque del Apache to get Sandhill Crane shots. Not a lot going on there as I write this (Wed. Dec. 18)) other than Sandhill Cranes.

There right now. Not a lot going on other than Sandhill Cranes. Only a very small flock of Snow geese and they are far away. Trying Ladd Gordon this afternoon.
