This was shot at Jasper Pulaski Wildlife Refuge where you are limited to a viewing area. It was a drab overcast day. It was shot at a higher ISO and cropped quite a bit. Even my sharpest images with limited cropping do not transfer to BCG as clean for whatever reason. It was shot at 840 mm. I was trying to get hopping cranes so I could get unique compositions and I saw this comp within another comp. Here is another image.I am a friend of wildlife closeups.
I really enjoy your picture a lot due to the combination of composition and abstracts.
For whatever reason I see a significant amount of noise on my screen. Maybe this has less to do with S/N ratio but with post-processing?
Anyway: Keep on shooting like this!
