Thanks, Steve. Shot with my old D850 & new 500 PF. Pretty excited with the results. Not sure it would be possible with the 80-400 I've been using.

Hello Joe, For sure. I think I missed Monte Vista Prime Time buy a couple of weeks - The Crane Festival was March 11-13. There were only thousands of them still there instead of tens of thousands. Apparently they started leaving Bosque Del Apache in late February, stopped over in Monte Vista, and now moving north. Monte Vista comes with beautiful snow capped mountain backdrop.
