Thank you, Rassie. Drizzling morning. Normally cold & crystal clear with dozens of people every morning in the winter when the cranes are here. I was the only one this day so I was pleasantly surprised with the results. There are tens of thousands of cranes here from December through February. They've been coming here for thousands of years, some from as far away as Siberia.

Thank you, Woody. Water level in Whitewater Draw varies year to year. I shot this several years ago. Been back every year since, and have yet to replicate this combination of conditions. Right place at the right time.Excellent, the way the birds frame the willows is outstanding.
