A Saw Whet Owl from this afternoon, taken with the Z8; new firmware did a nice job picking up the eye. There's some branches at the very bottom, hopefully not a deal breaker.

Nice shot! I like the colors and brightness levels. If any critique I would maybe clean up the twigs and remove or lighten the big dark area sticking out the top of the head. I might fuss with the white balance or color on the background, warming it a bit.
