Yep another Scarlet Tanager! I took this back in May. I stayed away from editing this photo because of a blurred stick over his eye all the way down to the left wing, but I think I was able to salvage it with some careful editing. In Lightroom I used a dehaze brush over the head and part of the eye. In Photoshop I used the remove tool to get rid of the blurred stick in front of the head, and I brushed in some contrast to the parts of the bird behind the blurred stick. I have like a billion layers in Photoshop cuz this was a tough edit, but I'm pretty happy with the end result. I love how this shows off the dorsal side of one of my favorite songbirds.
