This is posted under landscape rather than Wildlife as there are no wild camels. All are domesticated and owned by someone. They camels do add to the scenery. There are herdmen who live with and manage the camels as shown here. This photo taken in the rocky desert outside of Makkah (Mecca) Saudi Arabia in the region where non-Muslims are allowed. It was always interesting to see the camels against hte scenery. This one is a bit different because if you closely examine the herder's right hand, you will see he is busy on his cell phone while "driving" the camel.
