These pictures were taken during my annual trip to Scotland for some late autumn photography.
All three are in camera double exposures. The first at around f13 and as sharp as possible, the second with the lens wide open (F2.8) and slightly de-focused. The result is straight from the camera with virtually no editing. Not everyones cup of tea but fun to play with. (Tripod and cable release needed.)

Neat technique! When you say the 2nd exposure is defocused - do you mean shifted slightly from the first focal point, or do you mean focused out toward infinity/foreground and away from subject?
