I found this butterfly while I was gardening it looks pretty stunning, so check it out.

That is one weird-looking critter! A leg growing out of its eye? the antennae look metallic. You don't live close to a nuclear plant by chance, do you???:eek:
Nope, luckily or sadly?:unsure: It depends, but the leg is growing from a tad below the eye, ad antennas are very white in real life and branched because this butterfly is more of a night creature
 
To me Tiger moth is a 1930 British fighter air-craft :cool:
Nice shots. I find i easier to work on a dead critter - it doesn't fly away in the middle of the shot - but I also only shoot dead critters when they have passed away by themselves
