It took a couple of years but I finally captured a Short-eared Owl with prey. The light was from behind the bird than I would have liked.
I had to dodge the face on most of the images to even out the illumination. Six of what I consider the best of ten images kept.
Nikon Z9, 500mmF4VRII, TC-14EIII, FTZ adapter.
