Tried my Nikon Z800 mm PF with the Z 1.4 TC today. I learned that my skills need some work and that handholding at this length is not there yet. I can get a few good ones but the hit rates is very low. This is not unexpected, but I had to try. I did catch a couple, but if I want more keepers, 1120mm will have to be on a monopod or tripod. Muscle building workouts aren't likely to help me much. Anyway, here are a couple of the keepers. Weather is overcast and the lighting sucked.
The shots are 30.3MP full height square crops.
