The idea I got from @Nimi (thank you, Natan Nimi
)
I was always interested in arts. And as we were talking about some lenses features (like some of Zeiss or Voigtländer) we got to Renaissance canonical painted modes one of which is Chiaroscuro.
Wiki:
In art, chiaroscuro is the use of strong contrasts between light and dark, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition.
Similar effects in cinema, and black and white and low-key photography, are also called chiaroscuro.
So, better you would read it here and scroll to photographers : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiaroscuro
So, I want to present a few images which would fit to technic.
Spare Ribs and Salad
I am not sure if people in Renaissance had spare ribs ... but anyway ... the lion had!
Post your chiaroscuro images if you have!
