Silky Field Ants

Nikon Z7II, Laowa 90mm 2:1 macro lens, Godox V860III.

Coming from shooting mostly birds, then recently getting into macro, I’d have to say that ants are definitely the “tree swallows in flight” of the insect world. Not impossible to capture, but certainly damned difficult!!

Yes difficult to grab a shot but quite rewarding when you nail the focus and detail. Nice work.
