A Semipalmated (dark legs) and a Least (yellow legs) sandpiper - both adults by date and plumage, on early southward migration, Nova Scotia. There will soon (hopefully) be thousands in the same spot, feeding on the tidal mud shrimp in the Bay of Fundy.
