Single supplements

I like to travel solo , but I'm finding it increasingly
difficult due to the extra fees. On one trip, they wanted close to two thousand more for the single supplement, I/5 of the price! Any thoughts seasoned travelers?

I feel you. When I travel to Kruger to I select camps that are either not charging extra for singles or with a mild supplement. I say mild as many camps simply double the rates for singles. Unfortunately not much else I can do as I like my privacy when the day draws to a close.
