Here is a collection of little critters I photographed this past summer when the bird activity slowed down. Some years ago I photographed a story on wildflower gardens for Oklahoma Today magazine. Every place I went, I was given seeds. My wife is an enthusiastic gardener so we have had a wildflower garden every year since. Each year we are surprised by what grows. Most of these were made in my backyard wildflower garden. I especially like the Cicada and the Praying Mantis. And the Common Buckeye is a magnificent butterfly.
