Just a few shots from close to home. I like macro and close focus.
1) Spring Peeper - for those unfamiliar with these tree frogs they are about the size of a man's thumbnail.
2) Hover Fly pollenating a poppy flower. My wife loves poppies so I plant them around the house. The hover flies love the blooms.
The other flowers my wife likes are Zinnias. Here we have a bumble bee hiding under one of the flowers during a summertime rain shower.
