Smallrig Battery and charger Z6ii

While looking for a USB powerbank, I came across a recommendation for the SmallRig EN-EL15 battery pack as an alternative. Has anyone used these? Is a powerbank to charge or a branded Nikon battery just the better way to go?

I believe the SmallRig is just a dual battery charger

I use the Anker 537 PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W + and I really like it. It is approved by Nikon https://onlinemanual.nikonimglib.com/z7II_z6II/en/15_technical_notes_10.html

I use the power bank to ( charge / power deliver ) my Dell laptop, iPhone, Z 6, Z 6II, iOptron Skytracker Pro, and other devices, it works great. Astrophotography on a cold night with my Z 6II I can plug it in and hang from my mount or tripod and I can shoot photos for hours and not worry about the battery going dead. On the Z6 II you do have to enable USB power delivery under the SETUP MENU.

Note: Power delivery is not available on the Z 6 but usb c charging is, hopefully Nikon will put out an update to enable power delivery on the Z 6.

I also use the Nikon EH-7P Plug: https://adorama.rfvk.net/WDDGZZ when AC is available.

I don't normally use 3rd party batteries but I purchased the Smallrig en el15c for my Nikon Z8 and have been extremely pleased. I know it's only rated at 5% more power than the Nikon brand but it has been holding power alot better than the Nikon 15c. The c port charging is a nice feature and of course the price at $44. verses $60 is attractive.
