Travelled up to Freezeout Lake in Montana to photograph the Snow Goose migration this year, and decided to experiment a little with slow shutter speed to capture the chaos of a large flock taking flight. I'd love to hear opinions

The migration is probably something no photo can capture fully, I know from experience that it is difficult to explain to others exactly what it looked like and how it "feels"

I like the photo a lot - and I think you captured some "feeling" in the process
 
I was lucky enough early one morning (decades ago) watch a vast sea of snow geese lift off in waves from a Manitoba wheat field; only thing more amazing than the visual was the incredible noise. I think your shot captures the organized, beautiful chaos very very nicely!
