A Nore' Easter Snowstorm hit NJ yesterday. This Coopers Hawk stopped by for a quick bite in preparation

for the snow.

The heavy cloud cover and snow made for some interesting light

Great moment you captured there. Beautiful hawk and the snow is awesome!

FWIW, if you stick by the image posting guidelines and size your images to no more than 800 pixels tall nor 1200 pixels wide folks will be able to see the entire image without scrolling up and down. I can just get the image to fit vertically on my big 27" editing monitor when I zoom out the web browser several steps but can't even zoom out far enough on my laptop to see the whole image in one view. A shame to not be able to see the whole image without scrolling.

Thanks.
Ill try to remember to send in a smaller image

Thanks very much
The Hawks used to perch mainly on our fence or other man made things, like 5he feeder pole. I didn't like the look of those pictures. So I started to put up perches and hangers for the feeeders from old branches found in the woods. I swap them out and move them around a bit from time to time. This past storm knocked them all down so now I have rearranged again. Not exactly a well groomed yard this time of the year.
