anyone here photography snowy owls in northern NY state? I was planning a trip to Amherst island in Canada. But this Covid-19 put a stop to that with the boarders being shut down. Any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

If you find a good place let me know... This guy is on my list of really want to get! We get scattered Reports of Birds alone Lake Erie here but nothing reliable enough. I seem to recall there was a place near Albany that had some... But not much else. Ontario seems to have a lot more opportunities but who know when we will be able to cross the boarder again.
You local to the northeast? I did find a hot spot on eBird. That looks promising
Westen NY (Buffalo) but I'm planing on trying some places further east this winter. eBird is wonderful!

I'm in the Syracuse area so I'm interested to here any good spots as well. I've been going to the Montezuma reserve lately but haven't seen any owls.
Point peninsula wildlife management area. Seems to be a hotspot.
