Just returned from a 10 day trip to the Okavango and could not believe the number and quality of Leopard sightings we had, just posting a few of my favourites

Thank you. The rainy season is just starting and they have not had much rain yet, but much of the green is due to the flood plains which currently have no water, but retain moisture in the ground and will become flooded by May or June, when water flowing in from Angola reaches there.

Amazing and I am a bit jealous, having never been to a country that has wild leopards.

We were extremely fortunate, had 8 separate leopard sightings in 10 days, only one of these a repeat sighting of the same leopard and at all these sightings we were able to get quite close and spend extended time with them, unlike all my previous sightings which have been fleeting or at a distance. I took more leopard photos in these 10 days than in the whole of my life before.
