Solar Wind. Windmills were once very common on farms. These beautiful structures were not only visually dramatic but also utilitarian. They were used to bring underground water to the surface for crops and animals. With the advent of cheaper and more efficient pumping systems these have sadly become an anachronism. Replaced elsewhere by modern ugly giant structures that now dot the landscape. This shot was somewhere on a farm in Illinois. I don't remember where, and I doubt it exists today.
