I was sitting on my front porch in the early morning light, sipping coffee and talking with my wife. The final few days of our daylily season are in full process and I took this photo with my Z9 and 500 PF lens, set up for continuous bursts as I was hoping to shoot squirrels, birds, or hopefully hummingbirds.
I took a four shot burst and was pleased with finding a buzzing bee going for the gold in this bright red daylily. He was only in focus for this last shot, so thank goodness for burst mode and a heavy finger.
