Beautiful Callie. Great demonstration of what you can do with a camera most folks would laugh at these days. Really nice image!
Thanks Dave, that was one of Nikon's best bodies, > 16 years ago! Came from an F90X and the F5 and slides, huge learning curve and no pp skills, copied over my originals to small, useless web only jpegs on some images. And the funny thing is, you never see some sightings a second time to shoot again!

Beautiful photo Callie. Super happy this was saved in something larger than a few pixels.

When I got my first DSLR I found all the new functions confusing so I took an 8 week course. I was shooting raw after the first or second class and purchased Lightroom 3 after the third or fourth week. I am so happy I took that course.

Superb shot Callie.....👌👌 The D70 was a wonderful camera which I even used way back in 2005. It had a 6 Megapixel CCD sensor and as a DX format camera was ideal for wildlife shooting. And though it shot at only 3fps it had a good buffer size of more than 100 shots as far as I can remember. Later in 2009 switched over to a D90 which was vastly improved to 12 Megapixels with a CMOS sensor. Those were the days where max ISO on cameras were only upto 3200..... The 18-200 lens was my first VR lens which I used extensively for more than 10 + years. A fabulous lens with a minimum focus distance of just 8 inches. Have used it from Macro to landscape to portrait and even wildlife. The one lens which was always in my camera bag.
