I found a few older shots of a great horned owl from 2017. We were at the Sonoran Desert Museum for a tour of the saguaros with friends. The park staff has a couple hawks and this elegant looking GHO that respond to calls and come to an observation area. These raptors live in the nearby desert hills and forage on their own….with occasional treats from staff trainers as I recall. These were taken with a Nikon D750+80-400mm…. Grainy as heck but great opportunity.
