EDIT: For anyone wondering in the future, it does unscrew. There is a recess on the back where you can use a toothpick to break the threads loose, then finish by hand.
Are the clear "filters" in the Sony gm primes removable from the drop in frame? I can't get mine unscrewed from the frame and neither can a photog acquaintance of mine. I've got the 400 and he has the 600. We're trying to put nd filters in.
