Richmond Park is a Royal Park created in the 17th Century by Charles 1, who used it for hunting parties. It is now a nature reserve and is the largest of the London Parks, occupying 3.69 Sq. miles (approx. 3 times the size of New York's Central Park. ) These shots were taken with D850 and nikon 400mm f2.8, ISO 1250, 1/500 Sec., handheld. 23/01/18.

Beautiful photos, Gottshotz!!

Yeh, I have recently traded mine in for the new 120-300mm f2.8 which is lighter, and will hopefully give me more versatility. The acuity across the full range is astonishing for a zoom lens !
If my pocket was deep enough, that would be my choice too. I had the 1st Sigma 120-300 F/2.8, traded it for the 200-400 f/4. used it many years.

Awesome captures and what a rack...Superb Gottshotz👌👌 On a separate note how is the performance of the new 120-300mm lens? Planning to swop my 200-500 and getting this one since I now mostly use my 500PF.

Thanks Yezdi --- unfortunately I haven't really had a chance to test it out properly in the field as we are now once again in a very stringent covid lock down ! Brad Hill is currently finishing off his extensive testing programme of this lens . Having spoken to him recently, I think he will ditch his 180--400 in favour of it---it's that good !! His website www.naturalart.ca is worth a look. I will post some images as soon as weather and subjects permit.

Great shots!

Super shots Gottshotz. Lucky that you weren't there the day that bloke was taking his dog, Fenton, for a walk. You would not have got anywhere near. For those who don't know what I'm talking about search Youtube for 'Jesus Christ in Richmond Park.' One of the funniest videos I've seen along with all those that followed it!

Thanks Gangster ---- thank god that character wasn't there when I was !! I wouldn't have stood a chance once that herd got going ! ( even if I had had " herd immunity" ). Best laugh I've had all year.
